Join Skin of Color Update faculty during a case-based discussion on diagnosing and treating common dermatologic conditions in patients with skin of color.
Delays in diagnosis or misdiagnosis of common dermatologic disorders in patients with skin of color contribute to disparities in care.
Through the use of clinical cases, SOCU faculty will discuss nuances in the presentation of common dermatologic conditions across diverse patient populations with skin of color, provide practical pearls on recommended approaches to diagnosis and treatment.
Upon the completion of this symposium, attendees will be able to:
- Understand the complexities of diagnosing dermatological conditions in patients with skin of color
- Identify common mimickers
- Build more accurate differential diagnoses
- Develop better diagnostic and therapeutic approaches
